Album Beauty

Album Beauty

Album Beauty celebrated the fading tradition of the photo album through a mix of framed images, interactive displays, vintage prints, and even a photo-covered carpet. Drawn from Erik Kessels’ collection, the work unearthed forgotten stories from everyday lives—mythic, awkward, sometimes accidentally profound. We developed the concept, secured funding to reduce production costs, and initiated a catalog with an external publisher. From flea markets to galleries, this was a tribute to the golden age of analog self-curation, before our lives were edited one upload at a time.
