This edition of In Almost Every Picture featured Fred and Valerie, a Florida couple who photographed playful, unscripted moments in water. Fred captured Valerie in fountains, pools, and streams—always mid-adventure. At the Vevey Biennale, the series was installed outdoors near water, echoing the original settings. Valerie appeared like a Fellini heroine springing from a municipal fountain, or an Ophelia drifting through Lake Geneva.
